Dubai airport records 13.8% passenger growth in first half of 2008

Dubai International airport in the United Arab Emirates has registered a passenger growth of 13.8 per cent in the first half of 2008, compared to the passenger traffic in the same period last year.
The airport handled a record 18.46 million passengers during the first half of this year and the average passenger movement per day has increased to nearly 1, 00,000 along with robust growth in cargo traffic.
