US$500 million Sana’a Airport expansion to be completed by late 2009

The expansion works being carried out at Sana’a International Airport in Yemen with an investment of US$500 million will be completed by late 2009.
The expansion project includes construction of a new terminal building, building of infrastructure to link the airport to Sana’a, expanding the runways, taxiways and aprons and upgrading the navigational equipment.
